Bio:
Taylor Rehmet is a U.S. Air Force veteran, aircraft mechanic, union president, working-class Texan, and the State Senator for District 9. After serving his country, Taylor came home and helped build F-35s before his coworkers elected him to lead their union.
In January, Taylor won a historic special election in a district Donald Trump carried by 17 points. He brought together Democrats, independents, and Republicans by staying focused on the issues affecting Texans every single day, not special interests, billionaire donors, or divisive culture wars.
Taylor is running for re-election and working across the aisle to lower property taxes and everyday costs, ensure Texans have healthcare they can afford, and fully fund Texas public schools.
